I totally agree with the fortuitous events thing. Almost always characters get power purely by happenstance and the will of the author, it never feels organic. The version of this I hate the most is “main character falls down chasm for some reason, but survives and finds something that just happens to give him stupid amounts of strength.”
I’m finding those sorts harder and harder to read, I’ve become slightly jaded and elitist about my WN reading surprisingly quickly…

No I would say they haven’t, I would say they just took the work as their own, cause it’s funny that a chapter finally comes out when someone else does it.
This is the reason most groups wait about 6 months or contact the other group before grabbing their projects. The Re: Translators are almost always in their IRC.

It is. Only monsters who can give birth to more monsters are eligible, hence they’re all female. It’s something to do with female monsters being able to accumulate more magic or something.
Is this going to be a main project on this site? Since the raws have over 110 chapters, I’ll be VERY sad if this project gets dropped. Also, are you guys working with re:translations or not cooperating?

You may have noticed the next three are out now. Unfortunately delays were caused due to personal things. They are resolved for the most part now and should no longer slow down my releases.

Three chapters released today! Somehow the message hasn’t been properly getting around, but I’ve had problems which have been keeping me away from my computer, these are by and large resolved so future releases should be becoming a great deal more regular.
Plis dont stop translating this, bcoz re:translations is a bitch with their releases, their “not on hiatus” = dead until another group take the series and then they nag the group until they drop it, in some cases they releae 1 chap more “to show that the series is not dead”. Is the new group drop the series and leave it to re:translation again, that series go back to “not on hiatus” for the coming month, until another group try to pick it xD.

Is volume 2 over with chapter 11 or is there more? Did it catch up to the author? It feels like a it left off on a cliff hanger. Also I know the MC is human (mostly) and as humans we dont necessarily like conflict but I feel like volume 2 fell in action. Anyone else feel that way?
i think vol 2 is still ongoing as there has been like 5 to 7 weeks between each translation
