Kendrick Lamar and Vince Staples’ New Song Teased in Black Panther Trailer: Watch

Another Kendrick collaboration from his upcoming Marvel soundtrack

Kendrick Lamar and Vince Staples appear to have a new song in the new trailer for Marvel’s upcoming movie Black Panther. Check it out below. Pitchfork has reached out to representatives for Lamar, Staples, and the film for more information. Kendrick worked with Staples on his Big Fish Theory track “Yeah Right.” Last week, Kendrick shared his SZA collaboration “All the Stars” from the superhero blockbuster. The soundtrack Black Panther: The Album will be curated and produced by both Kendrick and Top Dawg Entertainment CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. Black Panther is in theaters February 16—the soundtrack is out February 9. The film is scored by frequent Childish Gambino collaborator Ludwig Göransson.

Kendrick’s last album is his Grammy-nominated DAMN. He’s up for seven awards in total. Vince Staples was recently featured on Billie Eilish’s “&burn.” His album Big Fish Theory was released last summer.
