Rochester Police; Credible threat made by Rochester student against East High School

The Rochester Police department report that they have intervened to stop a credible threat made against East High School.

Abigail Hernandez is in custody after police say she made threats on social media claiming she was going to shoot students.

The initial threat came from an anonymous Facebook account which caused investigators to track down and determine the author of the account.

Police say Hernandez had a shotgun in her residence that was found during the arrest on February 20.

Police say the 21-year-old is an undocumented immigrant and has been turned over to federal authorities.

She is charged with making a terroristic threat, bail is set for $15,000.
