Carrie Underwood’s Marriage Suffers After Husband Mike Fisher Refuses Couples Counseling (EXCLUSIVE)
These two have seen better days. Even before they got married in July 2010, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s relationship had problems from the outset. The fiercely devout Christians met in 2008 at a meet-and-greet following one of her concerts. But there was one big issue: He was based in Canada, where he played hockey for the Ottawa Senators, while she was in Nashville and on the road touring. "I mean, can I make dating more difficult?" Carrie later said. They chatted for months before meeting up again on New Year’s Eve. Their first kiss took place just as the ball dropped. By the next December they were engaged, and then that following summer they became husband and wife. But what they thought

Report: Rob Gronkowski ?Didn’t Enjoy Himself in 2017’
Rob Gronkowski’s talk of retirement didn’t come out of nowhere, NBC Sports Boston’s Tom E. Curran reports.Gronk “didn’t enjoy himself in 2017,” Curran said in a TV appearance on Monday, a feeling that began before the season started. “He seriously considered stepping away from the game in training camp,” Curran said. “At that point, his body wasn’t responding. He wanted to train a certain way, the team didn’t necessarily want him to train the way he wanted to train. ... The season played out and by the end of it, I don’t think that some of the principal players on this team were really happy with the atmosphere and the climate. ... They still need to have a hell of an air-clearing at Patriot Place to get these guys back.”Curran is referencing how Gronkowski wanted to adopt the training methods of Tom Brady’s guru, Alex Guerrero, this season. Guerrero lost some of his privileges with the Patriots as he team became concerned with his influence over a growing number of players. Gronkowksi was asked about the idea of retiring following New England’s loss to the Eagles in the Super Bowl and didn’t dismiss it, saying he’d “look at my future.” WWE has reportedly offered him a contract if he decides to leave football. Though Gronkowski is just 28 and it would be extremely unusual for one of the most dominant players in the league to walk away from the game at the height of their career, he has dealt with numerous injuries to his knee, back and arm, as well as at least two concussions.

Here's why an electric Tesla needs an oil dipstick
One of the big selling points of electric cars these days is they need less maintenance than an internal combustion-powered vehicle -- but low maintenance isn't the same as no maintenance, and that's why you might need a dipstick in your Tesla. While there isn't a traditional oiling system in a Tesla like you'd find on an ICE-powered car, things still need lubrication, especially the gearing attached to those big honking electric motors that give Teslas their famous turn of speed. The thing about oil is that it tends to not want to stay put and even in a mostly closed system it can migrate elsewhere, thus reducing its level where it's supposed to be below what's desirable, which is why you (or in this case your Tesla service center) need a means of checking it. Sure, you can check the oil level with electronic sensors, but that is an expensive and needlessly complicated way of dealing with a simple problem (We're looking at you, BMW!).

Daring poker player takes tournament winnings and bets them on one roulette spin
Winning nearly $60,000 in a high-stakes poker tournament wasn’t apparently enough excitement for Jake Cody. The poker pro took the money he won during a high roller event in the United Kingdom and plunked ALL OF IT on “black” at a roulette wheel. One spin would decide if he lost it all or doubled his money. The ball landed on … BLACK 22! Incredible, but wow, that takes some serious guts.
