Polokwane City confirm Thobani Mncwango has joined Bidvest Wits

Wits initially signed Mncwango on a pre-contract, which would have seen him link up with the Clever Boys at the end of the season.

However, the Students have successfully pushed for an immediate switch.

The ex-Baroka man was largely sidelined at Rise and Shine after missing out on a move away from the team on the back of scoring 13 goals in 29 outings in 2015/16.

Gavin Hunt's side also recently added Lehlohonolo Majoro to their frontline, which includes James Keene, Eleazar Rodgers and Egyptian loanee Amr Gamal.
