The Trust
Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust is a registered charity established for the creation and operation of a multi-sports lakes and park in Cambridgeshire. The trust is committed to increasing access to opportunities in outdoor sports, including delivering outreach programmes which provide training and equipment for the public health benefit, and to developing the lakes in order that it will become a Centre of Sporting Excellence. The project aims to cater for both elite and community levels of sport while also providing a significantly improved quality-of-life and well-being for residents by preserving and maintaining a green space and park that caters for all interests and abilities, irrespective of age, income, gender, ethnic origin or beliefs.

Following the successful award of planning permisision for the Sport Lakes, the trust continues to be engaged in raising the necessary funding in order to start the physical works stage of the project. While this goes on the trust delivers its aims and objectives through the management of Milton Country Park and its Schools Outreach Programme.
