Professional Development

Speech Pathology Australia (the Association) is the national peak body for the speech pathology profession in Australia. The Association offers a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program relevant to speech pathologists. This program aims to reflect the diversity of clinical areas and/or employment that speech pathologists work within, and the scope of their practice. This program offers a variety of accessible formats: face-to-face workshops, online events and resources, recordings of events, and social media platforms.

In addition, each year the Association conducts a National Conference for the benefit of its members and the speech pathology profession. The event provides delegates with a prime opportunity to update their knowledge and skills, while building networks to enable them to remain leaders in a competitive field.
