Median weekly earnings of women $770 in 2017
In 2017, the 50 million women who were full-time wage and salary workers had median weekly earnings of $770, while their 63 million male counterparts had median weekly earnings of $941. Women working in management; life, physical, and social science; legal; computer and mathematical; and architecture and engineering occupations had the highest median weekly earnings, ranging from $1,173 in management to $1,307 in architecture and engineering occupations.

Hires and quits rose in 2017
There were 65.3 million hires in 2017, an increase from 63.2 million in 2016. Total separations (the sum of quits, layoffs and discharges, and other separations) rose in 2017 to 63.0 million. Quits rose for the eighth consecutive year, reaching 38.2 million in 2017. Quits comprised 61 percent of total separations in 2017.

From January 2017 to January 2018, 21 states added nonfarm payroll jobs and 29 states and the District were essentially unchanged.

Import prices up 3.5 percent, February 2017 to February 2018
U.S. import prices increased 0.4 percent over the month from January 2018 to February 2018. Import prices increased 3.5 percent for the 12-month period ended in February 2018.
