Kal The Koala
Pattern written and designed by Ashley Turck
This is a very easy pattern that's worked from the bottom up and you can make the small one or bigger one with just changing the yarn and hook size. You will need to know how to attach legs together. Please read over the entire pattern before starting just to get an idea of how it's done.
Most of all just Have fun!

Important please read: You will be working in continuous rounds so do not join. Use a stitch marker to keep track of each round.
Make sure you leave long tails after each body part so you can sew on to the body. Be sure to crochet tightly so there are no holes, or try going down a hook size.
To change color: You can insert your hook into the last stitch of the round, yarn over and pull through, then yarn over in new color and pull through. Slip st into next stitch. You can sc over yarn tails a few stitches then tie and tuck in the back. Don’t forget to count the sl st in the next round.
We will be starting with the legs and attaching them to each other then working the body and head all in one piece.

For leg 2 you will do same as leg one but Don't finish off
Now take a scrap yarn in same color and tie the legs together in one stitch from each leg, then you single crochet around both legs and this will connect them.
15. (Attaching legs) sc around both legs (16 stitch per leg) at the end of this round you will have 32 total stitches.
Now we continue on with the body
Now we continue on with the body
