Roseanne Healy

Peninsula Leisure Chair, member of Audit and Risk Committee, and Remuneration & Reward Committee

An economist and business analyst with considerable experience as a Non-Executive Director and Corporate advisor across resources and agriculture, funds management, research and development, aviation, banking and tourism spanning private, ASX-listed and not for profit companies and Statutory Corporations at State and Commonwealth level.

Chair of Peninsula Leisure Pty Ltd, Dairysafe and VineHealth Australia and Non-Executive Director of Airborne Research Australia Ltd,  CUFA Ltd, GP Partners Australia, Grains Research and Development Corporation and Nyamba Buru Yawura Ltd.

Qualifications from the University of Adelaide include Bachelor of Arts (Economics Major), Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Business Research (Commerce). Recipient of the International Company Directors Course Award, Hong Kong 2015 (AICD) and awarded a graduate position in a Bachelor of Laws.

Barbara Crook

Peninsula Leisure Director, Chair of Remuneration and Reward Committee and member of the Audit and Risk Committee

Barbara’s career has seen her hold senior executive positions in a variety of organisations where her hands-on skill and experience has directly contributed to the success of each organisation. These include positions of CEO and General Manager of Operations in manufacturing, law, defence, taxation, research and retailing.

Barbara’s career highlights include board positions at Monash Institute of Medical Research and the Monash University Medical Foundation. Her extensive experience in the business and law sector is complemented by her formal qualifications in Education, IT, Management and Business Administration.

David Shilbury

Peninsula Leisure Director, Chair of Strategy and Marketing Committee

David is an experienced professional in the sports and education industry. He currently serves as the Chair of the Sport Management Program in the Faculty of Business and Law at Deakin University and is he also Director of the Deakin Sport Network.

As Chair of Peninsula Leisure’s Strategy and Marketing Committee, David draws on his sport management education and business credentials to drive the Peninsula Leisure brand strategy. This is further enhanced by his current appointment as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Sport Management and his role as a director of Golf Victoria.

Simon Allatson

Peninsula Leisure Director, Chair of Audit and Risk Committee, and member of the Strategy and Marketing Committee

Simon has worked in the sports industry for more than 25 years, principally at CEO level.

He is the only industry professional to have led the Olympic sports of both swimming and track and field in Australia.

Simon’s career includes sponsorship management of one of Australia’s largest financial institutions, CEO of a professional sports franchise, and deputy-CEO of a leading Australian charity with assets of over $70 million.

He is currently the Chief Executive of an ASIC-licensed financial services company which supports the Australian sport & leisure industry.

Simon was awarded the Australian Sports Medal for Services to Sport in 2000.

Phillip Johnson

Board Member

Phillip currently holds the roles of Chief Financial Officer and General Manager of Corporate and Commercial Services for South East Water Corporation. He is also a director of Iota Services which commercialises innovative utilities related technologies and solutions.

Phillip has extensive board experience across the utilities industry including the Water Industry Superannuation Fund and ‘Utility Services’ (a strategic alliance between Thiess, Siemens and South East Water).

Phillip’s wealth of knowledge in commercial business & financial management brings strength and guidance to the Peninsula Leisure management team.

Executive Management Team

Tim Gledhill

Peninsula Leisure Chief Executive Officer

Tim joined Peninsula Leisure as the Chief Executive Officer after an extensive career within sport, recreation and community industries, serving in CEO and executive commercial, marketing and facility management capacities.

While working for two state sporting organisations he played a key role in securing funding for the development of two key facilities, the Victorian Cricket and Community Centre (Cricket Victoria) and Valentine Sports Park (Football NSW).

Tim has a deep understanding of commercial and community engagement best practice and helped to successfully integrate the Melbourne KFC Big Bash League teams with the cricket and broader community, highlighting the power of sport to engage and activate communities.

Ian Kerwin

General Manager of Finance

As a finance professional, Ian draws on more than 25 years of experience within industries such as professional services, not-for-profits and incorporated associations.

More than just financial management, Ian has a proven experience in expanding companies into new markets, nationally and internationally, as well as facilitating the planning, development and implementation of finance and IT operating systems and meeting industry standards and statutory compliance requirements within the Australian marketplace.

At Peninsula Leisure, Ian is part of the Executive Management Team and well qualified to head up the critically important functions including financial management, administration and financial controlling.

Simon Beqir

Peninsula Leisure General Manager Facility Operations

With 27 years’ experience in the aquatic and leisure industry, Simon brings a wealth of practical experience to his position as General Manager of Facility Operations at Peninsula Leisure. This experience includes service at PARC, Casey RACE and Casey ARC, as well as Dandenong Oasis. As a former member of the Australian Swimming Team, Simon has a life-long affiliation with sports and swimming, and has built a career on understanding customers in the context of the business of health and recreation.

Melonie Lowe

Peninsula Leisure General Manager of Marketing and Customer Experience

Melonie has had over 15 years’ experience in senior sales & marketing roles with a career spanning across a range of industries including digital, retail, automotive and finance. She has strong customer experience management skills and has activated numerous large scale events from managing the Infiniti Redbull Racing sponsorship at the Australian Grand Prix, the Australian Open Tennis Sponsorship, International Motor Shows as well as State and National Drive and Golf event programs.

In a newly appointed executive role, Melonie is ably qualified to deliver on the organisation’s agenda for building excellence across all facets of the customers’ experience.

Rebecca Hill

General Manager of Talent and Culture

Rebecca is a HR professional with a Bachelor of Business Degree (HR/IR) and a strong work history in the hospitality, events, retail, entertainment and fitness industries. Rebecca’s experience in HR has been broad-based, with excellent exposure to employee engagement, performance and talent management programs.
