Surrounded by temptations of the world of Western consumer culture, Amin and Hoda are in constant struggle to free their relationship from the shackles of traditional moral values and sexual taboos. A fight, a few drinks too many, and Amin finds himself in a new relationship - with a storefront mannequin. Unlike Hoda, the new girl is a game for anything. And she doesn’t talk as much. A whimsical portrait of a young generation at a crossroads.

Amin MAHER
Born in 1992 in Tehran, Iran.
Amin Maher is an artist, poet and filmmaker. He started his artistic activity as the main actor in Abbas Kiarostami’s "Ten". This film was screened in Cannes Film festival in 2002 and got so many worldwide attentions. Four years after that Maher also performed a role in Mania Akbari’s "10+4", which indeed is a continuation of the movie “Ten” and participated in many film festivals such as San Sebastian international film festival. Afterwards, Maher followed his film activities as an assistant director. He collaborated as an assistant director with his mother, Mania Akbari, for making 6 video arts, which have screened in Locarno international film festival. Maher’s recent involvement as a first assistant director was for the film "From Tehran to London" in 2012, which also participated in many festivals such as Edinburgh International Film Festival in UK. Maher studied film production and has made several behind the scenes films. “Sweet Gin and Cold Wine” is a fictional short film by Amin Maher that was nominated for best short film in 21th Oldenburg International Film Festival and was screened in Kinemastik Malta short film festival 2014. “Orange” is a new experimental short film by Amin Maher which he made in November of 2014. Maher not only has artistic activity in cinema but also in literature. He was very interested in cinema and literature since he was a child and he studied both mediums. Amin Maher is also a poet and his first poetry book titled "Start Counting From Eleven" has published in 2013 in London.
