Hey, I was wondering what the progress of this is at? I hope everything's okay now. It would be a shame for it to end.
They have been unresponsive for a while. Strangely all just kinda died at the same time a while back. I tried emailing a couple of times but nobody responded. I’ll have to try again some time and I’ll make a post exactly where I see an official missing link whether it was the person’s fault or a postal system issue.
Unfortunately this project was entirely trust based. There was only so much time I could spend just figuring out where things were and spend the time to badger them to move it along. It was draining and in the end things only stopped after a while.
I’m glad people are still interested in the project though. I hope something can be done, but ultimately it depends on whoever has them at the moment.

Unfortunately it has been at a halt for a while. I’ve sent out sets of emails several times with no success. I’ll give it a shot again here soon though. Strangely all four books kind of stopped all at the same time which is more sad. Hopefully we’ll be able to get people going again.

Hi everyone. Updates seem to not be happening around here, so I made an effort to try to get in touch with everyone to see what’s going on with each book. It’s a shame that just about all four of them went dead at the same time.
Hopefully we’ll hear the news about what’s going on. I’ve also updated the participants list as to where exactly they should be at the moment. I hope we can make s'more progress soon.
Hello all people making this beautifull blog. Where are the sketchbooks now? Have been a month since last picture was posted.
It’s true, there hasn’t been an update in quite some time. Energy has been very low. I got in contact with many of the participants a bit ago, but not much has happened since. Unfortunately since the progress all relies on trust for the participants to do their part and move quickly, there’s only so much I can do.
I will try to check up on everyone to see what exactly is going on here shortly.
Doctor Who Sketchbook Project - The Concept

I have to say this concept was not an original one. I found this amazing blog (http://sherlocksketchbookproject.tumblr.com/) who was doing this very same project but for Sherlock. <3 Though I swoon at Mr. Holmes, I was surprised to see that no one took up the mantle to do a Doctor Who version. So I hope that the Serlock Project doesn’t get offended by my blatent duplication of their concept but I hope this credit will make up for any discord I may have caused.
So, how does this work exactly? Well there are 5 teams based on regions. Artists can apply to be members of that team and upon approval from the admin, the artists will be placed on the wait list for their team. The teams are Team Tardis (North Western US), Team K-9 (North Eastern US), Team Dalek (South Western US), Team Cybermen (South Eastern US), and Team The Doctor (UK, Canada, and Outside Continental US). It is the artists responsibility to pass the sketchbook to the next artist. So please ensure that you have funds available to pass the book. Once the sketchbook is filled they will be returned to the admin where they will all be auctioned off to benefit a charity that has not been chosen yet.
Artists who wish to participate in this venture can email the admin at doctorwhosketchbook@gmail.com with their name, Team they are applying for, a link to their Tumblr, website, or other page, and a sample of their work. Thank you for your interest.
