Police Interceptors comes to Cheshire Date published: 14th March 2017 1.25pm

Police Interceptors returns to our screens with a brand new series focusing on the work of the Cheshire Police.

This first episode of the observational documentary series will be broadcast on Monday (March 20) at 8pm on Channel 5.

In this series opener, Interceptor PC Tom Spowage tries to stop a suspected petrol thief who’s not prepared to pull over. Meanwhile, PC Mike Jennings helps carry out a text book TPAC (Tactical pursuit and containment), and PC Jim Hunt deals with an abusive drunk.

The series provides a real insight into the work undertaken by officers in the Cheshire Police Intercept team.

Featuring some of the most insightful observational police work ever captured on camera, Police Interceptors shows you what life is really like for the people who work hard to keep our streets safe and crime free.

Whether it’s chasing runaway drivers, arresting drug dealers or tackling organised crime, our dedicated team of enforcers are always working hard to make our streets safer.
