Ok, how about this. I'll engage you in a respectful manner. You didn't hurt me, you're free to feel however you like. Just as I am free to feel that you came in here, talked shit about something the majority of us do in this thread and deservedly got attacked for it. I don't think you hurt anyone, but I don't see why you felt the need to do it, because you've never posted in here before. So trying to tear down peoples fandom or how they choose to engage in something is asinine. Your holier than thou attitude is off-putting, turning your nose up to everyone in here and talking down to us. Also, the "we" when rooting for teams, you know what that refers to? Fans engaging each other. Two fans talking will refer to their collective fandom as "we". Got it? Good. No one here thinks they are part of team, lmao. Dude, get off your high horse and let people enjoy things.
Wait, do you actually think that a "neutral" fan has no capacity to have passion for the game? "We" fans have passion for a team and the game of basketball. "Neutral" fans very well could have passion for the game, they just aren't necessarily emotionally invested in a single team. It's still entirely possible for them to be passionate about the game itself. What about the not exactly uncommon instance where "we played bad defense" or "we couldn't hit a shot." Collective fandom didn't take any shots or play any defense.
He didn't even need to pull up from 3. He just needed to drive or get a quick mid-range jumper to tie the game.
You keep saying I haven’t posted here before. I have. Then you assume I should know that most people think they are part of the team when I don’t post frequently in this thread? Your logic is broken. Also I was referring to the use of we in that people associate themselves as part of the team. You never have nor will you ever be part of the team. That is not me being on a high horse, that’s reality.
Idk I’m using myself as barometer. I do basketball everyday, Lakers or not. NBA or not. Ball is legit life for your boy.
KD should have never passed the ball to Klay in the corner where he was inevitably gonna be trapped. He should have drove to basket. But I don't attribute the loss to that one play. Warriors played like trash the entire 4th quarter. They have only themselves to blame.
Ok, this will be my last time addressing it because you don't get it. Maybe I wasn't clear, but I meant the first time you brought this topic up here. I've seen you post here, that is beside the point. You are judging people in this thread because of how they choose to refer to something that does not have any bearing or impact on your life. So if you think that's okay to do, please continue. The Warriors only scored 12 points in the 4th. It was a bad showing by all of them. Their offense was atrocious, Durant also took some terrible shots. Like the inbounds play when he shot a 20 foot turnaround. Both series are tied 2-2 but this was the only competitive game of the 8. Hopefully both game 5's deliver.
This may be slightly off topic, but am I the only one who thinks those Gatorade "real smooth" commercials are the dumbest things? Like, what does that even mean?
I don't get the line of thinking that a team thats limping and one that has already lost 4 out 7 games to the Rockets this year is supposed to be some infallible favorites when they've clearly shown they are vulnerable. But I digress. Tell yourself whatever you need to. I don't care...
The 25th pick candidacy opened up a lot over the course of the combine. We’re going to have to wait and see who excels in finally team work outs. Depends on who is still available but if Jaren Jackson or Porter jr are still on the board I would go for them. Mainly because they have the most star potential to build around in the case of Bron leaving.
Very few do, if any. Thing is, you came here judging and insulting people you know nothing about, just because they enjoy/do something you don't understand. This is not the gaming side, folks here will not let you get away with it. If you need to insult people to feel better about yourself, go do it somewhere else.
Porter is huge question mark if he’s available Cavs gotta take him. Miles Bridges is a guy I like a lot and I can see him in Cleveland as my most safe pick at 8. Sexton and Trae in Cleveland with Ty Lue is career damaging.
Yikes. Yikes yikes yikes. Who am I attacking if Very few actually think like that? I’m simply stating those with delusions they are somehow a part of something they are not need to seek help. These delusions form for a reason and the most common reason is that real life is not enough. Thus the advice to get a life coach and be better. People with these delusions need help, they don’t need to continue to live vicariously through a corporation that plays basketball. Why do you feel attacked if you don’t have these delusions? You should just agree and move on. Some are exposing more than this wish to I think.
It's fine, everyone will see what he is capable of next year when he's locking up Curry and Harden in the playoffs. Spoiler Am I doing it right?
Lonzo's defense was definitely suspect (probably was his #1 listed weakness coming out of college). I really think defense in college is about effort and less about skill. Most kids don't get drafted high because they are defensive specialists, offense is what sells tickets and gets you max contracts. It's another reason I don't hold Ayton's defense against him this season. lmao.
He was actually a good defender in college Made all Pac defense and was the defensive anchor for UCLA the rest of his UCLA team was bad at defense, not him People took the Fox dropping 39 as him being bad at defense, even though on possessions where he primarily defended Fox, Fox only got like 11 points
Maybe I'm wrong but I remember a lot of draft analysis saying he was going to get lit up on defense in the NBA because he isn't athletic enough to run with the premier PG's.
This was definitely said. His shot and his defense were literally criticized all the time during the draft process.
Your name and avatar literally means fuck shit up lmao. I’m always here to lock up. My cardio is crazy.
I'm still going Cavs in 7, although I've picked Boston to lose every series this playoffs and they clearly haven't, so I'm nervous about my pick.
