Arts, Culture & Food

Creekside Farmers’ Market: Creekside Park, 10455 Miller Ave. Opened March 24, 2017; year-round on Friday; new hours as of June 1, 2017, are 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Cupertino Library: 10800 Torre Ave., 408.446.1677. Books, periodicals, author visits, film showings and other activities.    

Euphrat Museum of Art: De Anza College, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., 408.864.5464. Exhibitions and events reflecting a diverse local heritage. 

Festivals and Events: Held throughout the year in city parks and facilities, including a cherry blossom festival, a summer concert series and Shakespeare in the Park. Info available under Community Events, as well as on Mobile 95014.

Flint Center for the Performing Arts: De Anza College, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., 408.864.8816. Music, ballet, dance, theatrical and other performances.

Memorial Park's Japanese Lanterns & Trees: Memorial Park, Stevens Creek Blvd. & Mary Ave. Two large stone lanterns (toros) and 200 cherry trees given by Cupertino's sister city Toyokawa, Japan; site of annual Cherry Blossom Festival in April. 

Morion Sculpture: City Hall, 10300 Torre Ave. Abstract sculpture of a Spanish conquistador’s helmet by John Augsberger in 1971; one of several sculptures and murals throughout the city.

Movie Theaters:

• AMC Cupertino Square 16: 10123 N. Wolfe Road, 408.252.5960. Multiplex that includes an IMAX® theater.
• Bluelight Cinemas™: 21275 Stevens Creek Blvd., 408.255.2552. First-run, second-run, independent and international films.

Poetry: Readings and workshops led by the Cupertino Poet Laureate.   

Restaurants: Cuisines from all over the world at more than 160 restaurants. Info available in the Eats 95014 mobile app. 

Wineries: Tastings and events at wineries in the unincorporated part of Cupertino including: Fellom Ranch Vineyards; Naumann Vineyards; Picchetti Brothers Winery; R&W Vineyards; and Ridge Vineyards. 

California History Center and Foundation: De Anza College, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., 408.864.8987. Regional history program by college and nonprofit foundation in 1895 mansion, which is a national registered landmark.  

Cupertino Historical Museum: Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N. Stelling Road, 408.973.1495. Local artifacts displayed in rotating vignettes.  

McClellan Ranch Preserve: 22221 McClellan Road, 408.777.3149. Original 1930s ranch with relocated water tower, replicated blacksmith shop and nature museum.

Bowlmor Lanes: 10123 N. Wolfe Road, #20, 408.252.2695. Bowling lanes, bocce and sports bar.

Cupertino Sports Center: 21111 Stevens Creek Blvd., 408.777.3160. City of Cupertino facility; fitness center, fitness classes, badminton, basketball, pickle ball, racquetball, table tennis and tennis; single day, monthly and annual fee options; open to non-residents of Cupertino. 

Golf Courses:

• Blackberry Farm Golf Course: 22100 Stevens Creek Blvd., 408.253.9200. Nine-hole, par 29 course operated by the City of Cupertino; Foot Golf also available.
• Deep Cliff Golf Course: 10700 Club House Lane, 408.253.5357. 18-hole, par 60 course nestled in the foothills.

Ice Center: 10123 N. Wolfe Road, 408.446.2906. Indoor rink with public skating hours.  

Parks: Selection of city parks for relaxation, picnics, play and fitness; locations and hours available on the Cupertino Park Finder app, as well as on Mobile 95014.

Rancho San Antonio County Park: 22500 Cristo Rey Drive, 650.691.1200. 289-acre park in foothills with hiking, bicycling and equestrian trails, picnic areas and model airplane field; connects to over 23 miles of trails in adjacent open space preserve.

Stevens Creek County Park: 11401 Stevens Canyon Road, 408.867.3654. 1,063-acre park in foothills with trails for hikers, bikers and equestrians, archery range, fishing in reservoir and picnic areas; trail connections with open space preserve.

Apple Park Visitor Center: 10600 North Tantau Avenue. Steps away from Apple Park is a special space Apple created just for visitors. An architectural extension of its private campus, the Apple Park Visitor Center offers guests a place to learn, explore, shop, and more.

Apple Company Store: 1 Infinite Loop, 408.974.5050. Popular destination for tech tourists. To be closed for renovation starting June 15, 2017. 

Fujitsu Planetarium: De Anza College, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., 408.864.8814. Astronomy and laser shows n the largest school planetarium west of the Rocky Mountains.  

City Hall: 10300 Torre Ave., 408.777.3200. Museum-like displays that change regularly; open Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 

De Anza Flea Market: De Anza College, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd.; 408.864.8414. First Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; antiques, arts and crafts, used books, clothing, gifts, jewelry, etc.  

Retail Shops: Most shopping centers and stores are located along or near Stevens Creek Boulevard, Wolfe Road, De Anza Boulevard or Homestead Road. 

Veterans Memorial: Memorial Park, Stevens Creek Blvd. & Mary Ave. Walk of Remembrance, Wall of Honor and The Guardians statue; Veterans Day Ceremony each year on Nov. 11.
