Like the hideous monsters that populate H.P. Lovecraft's dark universe, Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth snuck up on us at last year's E3. We hadn't heard anything about the title at the time and came away impressed with what was looking like an amazingly original first-person shooter. A year later, we had another appointment with Bethesda and Headfirst Productions to take a look at the title, and while it wouldn't be a surprise to match the first, it was nonetheless pleasant to see how far the game had come and how close the game is to fulfilling its potential as an incredibly fun, exciting title.
