"At the moment I'm just finishing up my album so I'm hoping it will be out in the summer," Lewis said.

"I've got a track that's got a bit of drum 'n' bass at the end. It's quite different to what I've had out before."

She added: "I've got a track that's very '90s. It's just different influences that I've had through my life growing up.

"I'm really actually looking forward to people hearing it."

Glassheart was originally set for a November 2011 release before being delayed until March 2012.

Despite the star suggesting a summer launch, online retailer Amazon has posted a November 26 release date.

Lewis will appear as a guest judge at The X Factor auditions this afternoon (May 29) after her previous guest slot on Saturday.
