William Keith Swindell - TOWNSEND/GLENNVILLE - William Keith Swindell, 65, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Savannah on August 23, 1948 to Dewey and Eloise Brannen Swindell. He was a graduate of Glennville High School and employed with Alltel Telephone Company as a Communications Engineer for 34 years. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a Mason and member of Philadelphia Lodge # 73 and Live Oak Lodge and a Shriner with Sons of the Beach Shrine Club. He was a member of Morgan's Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey B. and Eloise Brannen Swindell Survivors include: Wife: Nan Shuman Swindell of Townsend; Children: William Ritchie (Rachelle) Swindell of Glennville, Brantley Jay (Lyn) Swindell of Manassas, Colden Rainey Swindell of Nashville, TN, Jessie Adair Weitman, Jr. of Townsend; Grandchildren: William Reid Swindell, Raeleigh Elizabeth Swindell, Brantley Ben Swindell, Grayson Jay Swindell, Benjamin Brannen Swindell, Jessie Elijah Weitman; Mother-in-Law: Jacquelyn B. Shuman of Glennville; Sisters-in-Law: Judy S. Gore, Faye S. Waters and Lisa S. Sikes, Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm, Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home in Glennville. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the Chapel of Brannen-Kennedy Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Glennville City Cemetery with Military and Masonic Rites.
