CELTIC will take on Alashkert of Armenia in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round following today's draw in Nyon, Switzerland, with the Hoops playing the first leg away from home.
Brendan Rodgers' side face four qualifying rounds in order to reach the group stages of the competition for the third consecutive season, and face the Armenian champions in their first tie.
The first leg in Armenia is scheduled for July 10/11, with the return leg a week later at Celtic Park, on Wednesday July 18 (KO: 7.45pm). Further information to follow on the dates and times of both legs.
Should Celtic see off Alashkert of Armenia, they will face the winners of the Rosenborg versus Valur Reykjavik tie in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
