Dr. Subra’s Presentation on Community Health and Gas Infrastructure

For those of you who were unable to make the forum, Dr. Subra’s power point presentation can be found by clicking Dr. Subra 12 12 13

The forum was very informative and, among all of the health issues and other facts related to both the compressor station and power plant, gave the real figures of the pollutants that the CPV power plant will be releasing on all of us. This figure includes the “off set” carbon emissions which the CPV holdings company purchased in PA that was subtracted from the actual figure that the power plant will be releasing. Does this mean that the purchased off set will magically appear over PA and not Orange County? And if so, how long before it makes its way back here as the wind blows?

Forum On Community Health and Gas Infrastructure December 12, 2013

What are the emissions coming out of the Minisink Compressor Station?

What about the emissions from the planned CPV Power Plant?

Is it safe for my family to breathe and to play outside?

What should I do if I smell or hear something?

How can I best protect my kids from toxic exposure?
