Effective October 29, 2018, New York City has a new rental subsidy program called CityFHEPS that consolidates existing city-funded housing subsidy programs including City Family Eviction Prevention Supplement (CityFEPS), Special Exit and Prevention Supplement (SEPS), Living in Community (LINC 1, 2, 4, and 5).

Recipients of SEPS subsidies will be transferred to the new CityFHEPS program at their first renewal effective on or after April 19, 2019, if they remain income eligible. Households or individuals with only a shopping letter will be re-screened for eligibility for the new program.
