Top 25 employers
According to UGA's Career Outcomes Survey, the top 25 employers of UGA graduates hired a combined 760 students from the Class of 2017. Eighty-seven percent of those 760 graduates remained in Georgia. The university recently honored those top employers at a luncheon.
40 Under 40
The UGA Alumni Association has unveiled the 40 Under 40 Class of 2018. This program celebrates the personal, professional and philanthropic achievements of UGA graduates who are under the age of 40. The honorees will be recognized during the eighth annual 40 Under 40 Awards Luncheon on Sept. 13.
Top athletics program
UGA finished No. 8 in the Learfield NACDA Directors' Cup, the all-sports competition ranking collegiate athletic programs. Georgia posted its 21st-consecutive top-20 effort, making UGA one of only six Division I schools to finish in the top 20 every year since 1997-98.
