Cristiano Ronaldo is not the only Real Madrid player receiving a new contract to stay at the club this week as 20-year-old midfielder Aleix Febas extends his deal.
Joining the club in January, the Lleida-born player moved up from the C-team to Castilla in the summer and has been a key part of their Segunda B campaign thus far.
"Very happy to renew with the best team in the world," wrote Febas on Instagram after signing the contract alongside Real icon Emilio Butragueno. "Thanks to Real Madrid for trusting me, and my family and Dani Garcia for accompanying me on such a happy day."
Furthermore, the Spaniard has trained with the senior squad on numerous occasions as well as joining them on their North American tour during pre-season.
