BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:00 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their offensive in the northeastern countryside of the Hama Governorate this morning after a successful assault to start the week.

Led by their elite Tiger Forces, the Syrian Arab Army stormed the Islamic State’s (ISIS) last positions inside the terrorist group’s large pocket located between the Idlib and Hama governorates.

According to a military report from the Hama countryside, the Syrian Arab Army has already advanced at several axes this morning, despite heavy resistance from the Islamic State forces in the area.

Over the last 48 hours, the Syrian Arab Army has liberated over 20 towns from the Islamic State forces, leaving less than half the pocket still under the control of the terrorist group.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.
