This is the best place for coffee. We drive about 30 minutes just to go there. No matter who’s working they are always very friendly. I had the frozen hot chocolate and it was amazing. The pastries th...ey have are always amazing. Worth the drive See More

My Mom and I discovered this gem of a coffee shop on our visit to Gettysburg in August. We had my dog with us and it was great to find a patio that allowed pets. The coffee is absolutely amazing! Afte...r discovering the shop on the 2nd day of our trip we made multiple stops each day for the remainder of our stay. The baristas are wonderful and the owner is very friendly. When we came back in November with my husband and Dad we made a stop each morning to pick up our coffee and take it back to the hotel for breakfast. We even bought beans to take home. We can’t wait to visit our home away from home and our favorite coffee shop! See More

This is my favorite coffee shop in town. I stop in whenever I can! The owner is great-very friendly & hospitable. It’s absolutely divine to walk through the door and smell the roasted beans. Coffee is... rich & full-flavored and their homemade chai tea recipe is amazing. LOVE THIS PLACE!! See More

This cafe was down the street from our BnB - we stopped by three times, and once at Ragged Edge Cafe (associated with Eighty-Two) local coffee roasters. We played Scrabble at both spots while we sippe...d. This cafe was warm and friendly. The staff (Mo, she's awesome!) remembered our drink orders two days later. The owner chatted with us about the history of the building. We had a muffin and cookies on different visits and they were outstanding. My husband didn't care for the sweetener in the chocolate used in his mocha, but they cheerfully replaced it with another drink. I also had the peppermint tea - fantastic tea! I wish I had asked the brand! We gabbed a bag of their Sumatra on the way out of town. Highly recommend. They aren't open late, but they do open early - so you're lucky if you live in Gettysburg and can get your coffee from them before work! See More

My wife and I stayed a couple doors down at the Inn at Cemetery Hill. I went here for our morning coffee one morning and was delightfully surprised with some of the BEST coffee we've ever had. We're s...imple people and had the Americano. Deep, rich, smooth...went back that evening and again the next day! I could get spoiled quickly if we lived here! See More

Best coffee in town!! If you need that pick me up, go here!! Fresh coffee that is roasted in house and pored right into your coffee cup. This place puts love in their coffee and into their location an...d especially with their service. Everyone is so nice and are so knowledgeable about the coffee and the different type of drinks they have. I pretty much live at this place. Throw that watered down starbucks sugar drink out and get your buns into Eighty-Two Cafe and enjoy some real coffee. See More

I can't fault them on their coffee, it's devine. My mom loved the apple dumpling but the cookies we got for my son lacked flavor and sweetness. The pumpkin scone my dad got was ok but again, lacked ...flavor. As for the customer service, oh boy. After having lunch across the street, my mother and I were seated at the cafe with our leftover pizza in boxes on the table waiting for our coffee and pastries. Pizza box closed. Out of nowhere the barista yells at us that we can't eat pizza in the cafe. We weren't. We were waiting for our items. After explaining this she then went on loudly yelling over to us that outside food wasn't really supposed to be eaten in the cafe. Again, just waiting for our order, not eating pizza. The owner then came over and told us it was ok just this once he would let us eat the pizza in the cafe. My mother then explained AGAIN we don't want to eat pizza in the cafe and we are just waiting for our order. Other customers were staring at us. It was uncomfortable and embarrassing. Then the barista came over and apologized saying she didn't mean to be rude and that it was usually their policy to not allow outside food to be eaten in the cafe. Explained for the final time we weren't eating pizza in the cafe. My issue with this whole incident is that instead of coming over and politely speaking to us we were yelled at and a scene was made for no reason. And also how many times do we have to say we aren't eating the pizza? The coffee is wonderful but other areas need work. See More

Quite possibly the best coffee I've ever had. Stopped in to get something cold and left with a lavender mint iced coffee and a gingerbread muffin. Both were excellent. I would come here everyday if ...I could but I was only in town for a visit. Highly recommend. See More
