An investigation by Paul Blanshard, Commissioner of Accounts, of the values and prices put on land and equipment by the Brooklyn Ash Removal Company was ordered yesterday by unanimous vote of the Board of Estimate after a discussion in which it was charged the company was trying to "hijack" the city for $1,000,000.View Full Article in Timesmachine »
