Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Officers rely heavily on your assistance in stopping any illegal hunting and fishing activities (i.e. hunting during closed season, trafficking in big game, netting of salmon and trout, exceeding quotas, etc.) Receiving timely, accurate information is critical for successful apprehension of the violator. If you witness or suspect poaching you should safely take note of as much information as possible and immediately report the activity to Fish and Wildlife Enforcement.
Newfoundland and Labrador's natural resources are protected by both federal and provincial agencies each with their own responsibilities. While any illegal activity may be reported anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers, other enquiries can be made by directly contacting the appropriate agency.
