Sharp unveils Aquos SH80F 3D Phone for Europe

02 October 2011 – French carrier Orange has collaborated with Japanese carrier NTT Docomo to offer Sharp Aquos SH80F 3D Android phone. Featuring a 4.2-inch qHD display, the Sharp Aquos SH80F allows users to enjoy 3D content without any glasses. Sharp Aquos SH80F is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and has a 2GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. It is running on Android version 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system. Sharp touted it as the world’s first Android phone that is able to convert 2D content to 3D in real time.
The Sharp Aquos SH80F will be launched in France on the 6th of October at the price of €199 (approx. RM 850) for 24 months commitment. However, the phone will be arriving later to other European and Asian countries.
