Terms of use

Whenever you use Taster you agree to these terms. You're also agreeing to stick to BBC Online Terms of Use and any terms indicated for specific pilots and prototypes. Please read those too.

Taster is the BBC's home of new content ideas. Its purpose is to allow new, experimental ideas to be tested by individuals during a trial period. Some of the Taster ideas may not work on all platforms or devices and may have some glitches. They may not meet the usual BBC technical and accessibility standards. If something looks broken please let us know by contacting taster@bbc.co.uk

The content on Taster is designed for people over 16 and may not be suitable for people under 16.

Taster allows for audience feedback to be given on the ideas during the trial period. You will be able to give feedback during the trial period using the 'Rate' feature or by contacting us at taster@bbc.co.uk. The 'Rate' and 'Share' features may also allow the BBC to make suggestions about ideas that we think may be of particular interest to you.

Taster does not necessarily represent the BBC's future plans. Some ideas may only be available during the trial period and the BBC may choose to commission alternative ideas and content. The BBC may remove ideas during the trial period, either permanently or temporarily. The BBC may create additional restrictions: for example most ideas are accessible globally but the BBC may create access restrictions based on your location.

Some links on Taster will take you to external sites (such as Twitter and Facebook). Please see the BBC's approach to external linking.

Information on how the BBC uses information you provide to use can be found at privacy

Many of the Taster ideas have been built as part of the BBC Connected Studio innovation programme. Taster ideas, as well as content, may be owned by the BBC's partners and their use may be subject to additional restrictions.
