CROYDON ATHLETIC 0 BRENTFORD 1

Posted on: Tue 01 Jun 2010

The Bees made it two wins in four days when they returned from Thornton Heath with a 1-0 victory this afternoon.

The scorer of the decisive goal was, fittingly, Moses Ademola who left hosts Croydon Athletic just over twelve montsh ago for Griffin Park.

The goal came in the 12th minute and Moses had the simplest of tasks in slamming the ball home.

However the performance was, in the main, lacklustre and the home side missed a glorious chance to level the scores with just a couple of minutes left. But instead veteran Robbie Ryan blasted high and wide when scoring seemed by far the easier option.

The Bees have just one pre season friendly left, next Saturday away to Hayes and Yeading.

Today`s line up: Billy Lumley, Lewis Ferrell, Ryan Blake (Bilal Butt 85), Bentley Graham, Leon Legge, Fraser Franks, David Pitt (James White 75), David Hunt (Charlie Allen 70), Moses Ademola, Nathan Elder, James Simmons (Kyle Vassell 70).
