Offshore Marine Survey
Our Offshore  Marine Surveys provide wide swathe Single and Multibeam  bathymetry and imagery complete with acoustic sediment classification. This process provides real-time information to facilitate deep and shallow water site investigation, rivers, estuaries and dredging support.

A wide swathe bathymetry survey produces 3-dimensional  datasets of ultra-high resolution single/Multibeam bathymetry and imagery. These results are repeatable and accurately provide 100% coverage. Multibeam technology fulfills the IHO (International Hydrographic Organization) legislative requirement  while also improving cost efficiency, coverage and knowledge.

Acoustic sediment classification can be derived from the backscatter imagery datasets that are produced by the ultra-high resolution Multibeam system. These datasets are automated and processed to create 3- dimensional maps of sediment classification. This acoustic method of determining seafloor sediment is conducted simultaneously during the wide swathe hydrographic survey thus covering the entire survey area and is vastly more efficient than conventional visual or mechanical methods.

Bathymetric surveys provide information  about the unique shape and features of submerged terrain, which can be used to develop detailed maps of the riverbed, lakebed, or seafloor. Multibeam bathymetry is used to provide high-resolution surveys across a wide area. It is more cost effective in deeper water conditions, since the width of the swathe is proportional  to water depth. The swathe width that can be measured equates to approx. eight times the water depth. These surveys are conducted simultaneously with side scan sonar and sub bottom profiling systems to carry out geophysical surveys for obtaining seabed morphology and sub sea bed sediment data.

Visual Inspection Survey

Subsea Visual Inspection Surveys are carried out using Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) that provide video and still images. Our system operates with multiple cameras and survey sensors to provide our clients with added value. Our subsea inspection  services provide support  for the following subsea operations:-
