Illayaraja remixes 'Aasaya Kaathula' in Maranthen Mannithen

In his latest album, Maestro Illayaraja has come up with a remix version for his song 'Aasaya Kaathula', originally from Johnny, that is said to be one of his biggest hits.
Maranthen Mannithen is produced by Lakshmi Manchu and has Taapsee and Aadhi playing the lead. It is also going to be released in Telugu simultaneously as Gundello Godari. The story is said to be based on the 1986 floods which took place in Andhra. Illayaraja's music is sure to add credibility to the film.
A song like 'Aasaya Kathula' could just pave way for it's promotions among fans.
