The right skincare is essential. Whether you are a man or woman, young or old, a good complexion is a sign of good health. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times, “HEALTHY SKIN STARTS FROM WITHIN.” However, with that being said, I’m also a licensed medical esthetician.

This means that my knowledge in skincare extends farther than nutrients. From the
right foods to the best on the market appropriate products, theitian.com is here to cater to all of your skincare needs and concerns. I teach, blog, and promote the best skincare treatments, products, and even DIY ways to create that youthful skin. I look forward to any skincare related questions, concerns, or ideas from any of you by contacting me at info@theitian.com!

The Skin You’re In

Hello Itian readers! Due to my esthetics background, I thought to myself, if I’m going to be discussing in depth various products, treatments, and procedures, I’m sure some are going to wonder, “Where the heck do I go for any of this stuff?” I mean it’s one thing to promote a fantastic moisturizer or laser treatment, but it’s another to know the best places to go, that also won’t burn you to a crisp or sell you a fake prescription to the fountain of youth.

Before receiving my dietetic license, I worked in quite a few various medical spa settings. From the Department of Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery in a large hospital institution to private practice, I have been able to grow my knowledge based on the places I’ve been employed. Each has its own population, market, and opinions on skincare. As a result, I’ve been fortunate enough to learn a variety of techniques, the treatment of an array of different skin conditions, and all of the latest and greatest in aging procedures.

Now I don’t know if any of you had noticed that on the bottom of my home page there are two instagram links. Obviously one is my own personal, while the other is the link to Subbio Medical Spa, my former employer. No, I do not get paid by them and nor am I biased simply because I worked there as a clinical esthetician. Like I’ve said, I’ve worked in several other practices and have a great relationship with them all.

The reason for the “plug” I suppose you can call it, is because not only is the esthetician there simply fantastic, but what make her stand out is that she’s REALISTIC. From their surgeon, Dr. Christian Subbio to their esthetician Morgan Taylor, their main focus isn’t selling hopes and dreams. Nor is it to fill your face up until you look like a puffer fish to capture that “youthful glow.” They keep it real and they keep it honest. That to me is one of the most important things in this field. This industry is all about looking younger, and the price of that can skyrocket. It’s important to be brought down to earth once in a while and understand that there’s a difference between aging gracefully than aging like Benjamin Button.

Many of my videos, procedures, and interviews will circle around this practice. Please understand that this doesn’t mean that it’s the only place to go. I’m sure many things I will talk about or products I will discuss can be purchased at hundreds of other places. And if you think your place is the best or you have a skincare expert that you solely rely on, then that’s even better! The point here is that my ish was, is, and always will be real, and so are the people I surround myself with.
