Situated on the world famous Antrim Coast Road you will find Ballygally beach, nestled under the Sallagh Braes and home to the historic Ballygally Castle. Views of the infamous North channel and the Mull of Kintyre will meet you as you stand ready for a running beach start and a day of endurance, courtesy of Force 12 events.
No one can dispute the beauty of the Antrim Coast, an area steeped in history, culture and myth... but truly unforgiving for the unprepared.
The White Bear is a tough triathlon and will without a doubt test you. The nature of this triathlon will present challenging open water swimming conditions, a relentless cycling route and a gradually ascending run that concludes with a descent through the Sallagh Braes unveiling spectacular views and the sound of applause from a fantastic local community when you cross the finish line at the White Bear.
