Gravestone Inscriptions at St. John the Baptist Parish Church, Chester, Cheshire, England.
St. John the Baptist Parish Church, Chester was formally the Chester Cathedral. The majority of the gravestones outside of the church have now been laid to the ground and form the pathways immediately in front of the church. In 2009 the condition of the gravestones was deteriorating due to erosion caused by a combination of the weather and people walking over the gravestones. It was decided to record them for future reference. Historical Gems offers these records as a free publication that will be of interest to genealogists and local historians.
