Ian Poole: Memorable Capture
Ian has been on the carp scene for ages, even though he's still relatively young. He's a former British Carp Angling Champion who's an absolute expert in the art of solid PVA bagging. He honed this specialised approach on the pressured day-ticket waters of Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire; waters that he still fishes to this day.
He has caught a number of big fish along the way, notably from Linear Fisheries, Linch Hill, Wellington Country Park and Dinton Pastures. He's also a bit of a surface-fishing expert so he offers a lot of experience and expertise as a consultant. Ian fishes consistently throughout the year and usually catches right through the depths of winter.
He's a regular in the angling media and indulges his passion for photography by putting together top-notch features.
