2018 Witness World Tour: Katy Perry to perform in South Africa
US singer, Katy Perry will be in South Africa on 18 to 20 July 2018, as part of her Witness album world tour. Perry, will be performing in SA, after several other concerts in some 25 countries, including her native United States.
She is slated to perform at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg on 18 and 20 July, and to some displeasure of her fans in South Africa, she will not be performing in Cape Town or Durban – two major cities that are typically included in tours by top international artists.
Katy Perry’s visit to South Africa is courtesy of Discovery and Big Concerts. Tickets, which range between R575 and R1535, will go on sale at 9am on Friday, 26 January, and can be purchased at www.bigconcerts.co.za. Discovery cardholders, however, can start purchasing tickets from today, 24 January, and can visit www.discovery.co.za for more information.
After her South Africa leg, Perry will be headed to Australasia, and will perform in Australia from 24 July to 16 August 2018, and then in New Zealand on 20 and 21 August 2018.
