You just gotta wonder why the TX fee is higher on a 0.1 eth transfer compared to a 888,888 eth transfer.

A book about issues that are negative and present in the real world is banned because it’s better to shelter kids from all of these issues only to have it shock them when they do encounter it as adults after they leave their safe spaces.

At this point, we may as well ban books altogether because someone is bound to find something they don’t like in any book.

It's similar to the textbook I recently saw a photo of that claimed that the natives left their land willingly when the new settlers arrived. It completely ignore the fact that the natives didn't willing leave, the natives were slaughtered.

They would rather supress the truth because it's harder to hear the truth.

Yup that's the one!

You ever think that maybe you're just an awesome person who has made a positive difference in people's lives?

I download the X-Cash wallet and it has been synchronizing for over 24 hours. I closed the application and tried again but still synchronizing for 24 hours now.

What should I do?

I am on the new version 1.3.2.

Make sure you are updating the pool from official servers, not the top selection option. Some nodes might not be updated yet, which wouldn't allow you to sync right.

I have tried connecting to both the top selection and personally choosing a node. I had picked the New Jersey one since it is the closest, but still the same issues.

Literally holds all your coins in replacement of a credit card.

Thanks for helping point out obvious exit scams with proof to back up your claim.

As per usual though, everyone needs to do their own research before investing in a project or else you only have yourself to blame.

Hey Daniel,

I am from Ontario and I was wondering if you had any knowledge on why legal weed is available for sale in-store in every province except Ontario? In Ontario the only legal place to buy weed is from the Ontario Cannabis Store.

This online store does not offer very good options. With weed, you want to be able to see the strains up close and smell them. That is why being able to go to a store and meet with a bud-tender who is going to know what is best for your personal situation. On this website all it does is splits you into three categories, indica, sativa, and hybrid. It shows you medical looking packages for each product instead of the bud itself. There is no options for edibles or extracts.

I will give them that they do provide a lot of great knowledge about weed and the products themselves.

The Wynne government (Liberal) proposed to open brick and mortar stores in a similar style to the Liqour Control Board of Ontario (LCOB). These would be government run, and all the profit would be put directly in to the provincial budget. Currently the LCBO returns about $2B to Ontario each year in this type of model. The OCS was due to have about 40 stores open for legalization day, with about 120 in total over the next year. This was not going to be enough, but would have been the start.

When Doug Ford was elected he scrapped that plan. As a Conservative, it is not surprising he favored a more market friendly approach. This pleased current (illegal) dispensary owners, and those who wanted to get in to the business. The government is still the wholesaler for the province, and runs the only legal online source for cannabis, but isn't in the retail game any more. The problem is that Mr. Ford made this decision too close to legalization to get new regulations, licensing, and other pieces in place. So we'll have to wait until April for physical stores. In the mean time online is the only legal option. Personally, I would have kept a mix. Get the OCS stores open right away, and eventually allow private retail and cannabis social clubs to exist alongside. But hey, I'm not Premier.

Are all the stores in other provinces government run like the LCBO in Ontario, or do they run like some of the legal states where anyone can own and run a legal store with the right certifications?

I completely agree with you that there should be a mix. There are people who want to discretely order their weed online and have it delivered to their house. Then on the flip side there are those that want to go in to a store to see and smell the products before taking them home. I guess we will just have to wait till April for that then.

Thanks for the quick response!

Thank you! I'm still playing with this threshold, I'm trying to correlate minimum USD value to marketcap of the coin. I have already tried volume-based / average-based thresholds, but because various reasons I found them ineffective.

Yeah with large fluxuations in price, it would be hard to base on volume of tokens moved. I think it would be easier to base off a fiat conversion of how much is being transfer to decide whether it. Gets posted or not.

Great looking tool though :)

Original Poster1 point · 5 days ago

Yes, so far it that has proved to be best approach. If you have telegram, you can try custom notifications in ExchangeDog BOT, you can setup there threshold/token you want, it's way less spammy / if you don't have telegram I'm still taking suggestions on other messaging platforms :)

I actually. Just joined telegram to sign up for some new airdrops, so yeah I'd follow it!

Yeah it's a bad example to say it's the better stable coin because it stayed closest to $1. Tether had a serious amount of FUD which dropped the price hard. And trueUSD is considered the second largest stable coin so it makes sense that it would pump while tether dumps.

I don't think DAI is listed on a big enough exchange or has enough volume to get that far away from the $1 middle anyway.

I love how the tone switches when she realizes he does indeed live there. It switches over to the "well if you really are one of my neighbors, I would love to meet you." He simply responds with "well, you have really made a bad first impression for yourself" and just walks away.

You were just attacking the guy trying to prevent him from entering his home and now you want to be all neighborly with him?

The article is not really what you would think it to be. The bitcoin atm did not scam this woman in any which way.

She received a call about unpaid taxes and they threatened jail/deportation. They told her to purchase bitcoin at an atm and send it to them. She is now going after the atm saying it is their fault they allowed her to send the money to a scammer, after the bitcoin was already in her possession.

Sad situation, but don't forgot you are responsible for your own decisions.

That all sounds very great in concept, but it is a little bit more difficult in reality.

The nano team itself is very small. The community relies on holders of nano to help build its applications and exchanges. We have had some great outside projects done such as the Canoe wallet (desktop and mobile) and Nanex (nano based exchange).

Problem is that the concepts you are talking about (fiat to nano, straight to wallet purchases, and easy concepts for beginners) are all difficult things for individuals to create and run successfully. I think they will all come in time though :)

Yeah, fuck people thinking their products are worth money. If you don't think it's worth it don't buy it, but all the information is right there, there's no trickery here or am I missing something?

It's listed as a free game, which is true. It doesn't mention until you go to download it that it is only free for 3-7 days and then starts charging you $100+ a year for some shitty game.

It's listed as a free game

That's your arsehole part, you should leave a shitty review telling them that, maybe something gets done about it. Probably not, but maybe.

The price is irrelevant to that though if it's more than you value it, don't pay. That's your right as a consumer, as it is theirs to determine the value of their work.

Im not OP in this case, but when I come across games like that, I give them a bad review and warn people about their predatory practices.

The price is relevant when you are only looking at free games because you don't have extra cash to spend. You come across a interesting free game and then when u go to download it tells u it's going to charge you $100 next week. :/

Amazon seems to think I'm a wholesaler for crutches now, or possibly that I'm a giant centipede that twisted all the ankles on one side.

Just bought a new phone so I ordered a new case for it off amazon. Once I have added said case to my cart and purchased it. Phone cases became the only thing advertised to me! Also, if I purchased a Samsung case, why would u advertise cases for the iPhone X??

Where is the part where you throw it into an open fire and watch the whole thing burn?

(Preface: I’m a school photographer, one picture per kid per year) Not my story but a coworkers, she was at a school and a student called her mom crying because we didn’t have the background she wanted (it was a green screen) mom proceeded to come down and berate my coworker and make a huge scene because we didn’t have all 100 backgrounds that we offer online...at the job. Once again we had a GREEN SCREEN.

Mom just thinks it's part of the process to bring your 100+ backgrounds and constantly flip between them for the child's choosing! Who would want a bland green screen as their background, even if that is all you brought!

/s

I think the green screen is like a template for the computer, you just stick in the chosen background in its place.

It is, that was the joke I was making :p the student/mother didn't understand the background is digitally placed.

BINANCE IS FUCKING IDIOTS. When they listing they tells us how they look at code, at adoption, liquidity and so on how they care to list only quality coins. SO how can quality coin become shitcoin???? Looks like they listing shitcoins and delisting to have space for more shitcoins.

I don't think u realize that binance puts their own reputation on the line with each coin that they list. Imagine how pissed off you would be if a coin they had listed turned out to be an exit scam?

Binance recently posted the requirements to first get listed and then to stay listed on binance. You need to have promising code and good ideas and passion behind your project to even get listed. If after a period of time, binance does not see any more from your team after being listed, they will remove you and make space for those who are trying harder.

There's no way they could've made it work properly, but at the same time they could've done it better. Your gun isn't even aiming at them, for crying out loud. At this point it just feels like aimbot that only works sometimes.

They should just remove VATS. It only worked because the old games were single player and they could easily slow down time at any given point in time. Also they don't have the awesome kill cams when you get a VATS headshot and pop their head off.

Why would binance ever delist Nano? They only delist coins that don't have enough trades or have obvious issues/scam properties.

It's not legal just yet in Canada but it seems to be pretty widespread knowledge that ordering weed online is hassle free.

The only people I know that don't order online do it because they can't get the same AAA strains online at the same price from their dealer.

I ain't picky. 90-100$ for an oz online that's going to be delivered to me?

Good bye dealers.

Where in the fuck are u getting $100 oz's online in Canada?? Please share your sources! Mine are min $250 oz

But bank accounts require parents consent. This is an ad on an app frequently used by kids. I'm unsure of what it needs to open the account.

I want to start by saying that I agree with you completely that they shouldn't be advertising debit cards to kids. I'm not sure where abouts you are but banks around me do not require parental consent at all. I remember when I was thirteen and had been working my first job. My parents refused to give me access to my own bank account because they didn't want me to blow all my money. I simply turned around and opened a bank account myself at the institution next door. They didn't need my parents for anything, all they require was two pieces of ID and my passport and Sin number was sufficient to open a chequing account.

Were you able to get a debit card connected to that account, or just have the account there and withdraw cash? Where I am, in the USA, you have to be 18 or older to get a debit card even if it's your bank account it's connected to and the ability to overdraft is disabled, unless you get a cosigner to attach their account to it as a backup for the bank to take money from should you still overdraft (like with an online purchase or something).

It gave a debit card with access for deposits/withdrawals as well as making direct purchases with debit. They don't offer overdraft protection on any student accounts. This is set so that they don't allow kids to dig themselves a hole financially.

We use Dr Java in my Java courses but they say you are welcome to use any environment. I would recommend eclipse as it is pretty easy to learn how to use but has some great detailed features for when u get more advanced.

I personally think Dr Java is not a very good environment.

How do u check the previous prices on amazon products? I've always wondered how much they raise the "original price" to show a discounted price on the products I'm looking at.

I use camelcamelcamel (a third party site). Amazon doesn’t want you to know that information but I surely do haha.

Camelcamelcamel, thanks! Good to know :)
