Nick Jonas finally opened up about his love story with Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra! The singer, who was a guest on an American chat show said that even though they just dated for a few months before getting engaged they knew "it was right."

Met with a lot of hoots and cheers, the singer gushed about how his whirlwind romance that will soon take them down the aisle, while also spilling deets about the intimate Roka ceremony, which he described as "full of joy."

The 25-year-old hunk was asked how he fell in love with PeeCee, to which he revealed that they had actually texted each other but didn't meet in-person until about six months later. “We met through a friend. We got connected first over text and we started talking for a while. It was about six months before we met up in person. We actually attended the MET Gala, a few years ago together and had a great time. We were just friends and our lives were taking us to different places,” Nick said.

It was only in the subsequent few weeks that the couple spent a lot of quality time together and started sparking romance rumours. He went on to say that it wasn't until about five months ago that the two decided to give a romantic relationship a try.

"People thought we were being coy, and so did we until we cut to now (and) we're engaged," he said, adding that their story “sort of wrote itself."

Nick and Priyanka, who got engaged in July, formalised their relationship with a traditional Indian Roka ceremony in Mumbai, last month. Reports claim that the couple wants to keep their engagement short and will have a big fat Indian wedding.
