Purpose of Data Collection

We collect email addresses, usernames and passwords. We use this to deliver our commenting service and to recommend content, including content from advertisers. We may share personally identifiable information with our vendors to perform services for us, and we may share encrypted email addresses, device identifiers or anonymous information with third parties who want to market to or communicate with you about products and services. PII Disqus collects: Screen name, email, and password. Users may optionally provide a link to their website, a location, or upload an avatar. From third parties via a single sign on feature, we capture: Full name (first/last), verified email, gender, and locale.
