Studying in London

London Big Ben and telephone box

Two courses for five credit hours will be offered during the summer. The classes run consecutively Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will held at the Worrell House, which contains two seminar-size classrooms.

Many class days will be organized around field trips, some of which may happen in the afternoon instead of in the morning when classes are usually held. Visits to sites of interest in and around London, such as the Law Courts and government buildings, are usually an important part of both courses offered in London and the students from both courses attend those trips together. There will also be visits to the Inns of Court, a walking tour of London, and trips to Oxford and Cambridge are very likely.

Course materials and reading assignments will either be notified ahead of time to provide an opportunity to purchase or be available online.

You may also want to continue your studies in Europe by attending our other summer program in Venice, Italy which will be held following the program in London.
