Congratulations To Michael Taylor ‘09

Michael-Taylor2Michael Taylor ’09, recently made his Major League Baseball debut this past fall as an outfielder with the Washington Nationals. While previously playing Minor League Baseball for the Harrisburg Senators, Taylor racked up several awards, including Best Batting Prospect and Most Exciting Prospect. Apart from being named the 2014 Eastern League Rookie of the Year, Taylor has also been nominated for the MiLB Offensive Player of the Year, Breakout Player of the Year, and Best Farm System for the 2014 season. Taylor is also the #1 prospect of the Double‐A level, which is based on putouts per game, and was voted the #1 Playmaking Centerfielder in the Minors. Michael Taylor played for the WA Varsity baseball team with Matt den Dekker ’06, who now plays for the New York Mets. We are proud of Michael all our alumni for their outstanding accomplishments.
