Clean Room Class 1000
A cleanroom is an environment that has controlled level of contamination that is specified by the number of particles per cubic meter at a specified particle size. Pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles and chemical vapors. A cleanroom environment is controlled through an exchange of highly filtered air, and through minimization of activities that generate particles.
Cleanrooms are classified according to the number and size of particles permitted per volume of air. A class 1000 cleanroom has less than 1000 such particles per cubic foot. It is equivalent to an ISO class 6 cleanroom. This cleanroom has 600 square feet of class 1000 space available. In addition to particle control, the cleanroom is temperature and humidity controlled to 70 °F, 50% RH.
