Katie O’Donnell Bam is a member of the USA Field Hockey Team. She attended the University of Maryland, where she was a member of the 2008 NCAA Championship team. Katie was a 2x National Offensive MVP, as well as 2007 National Rookie of the Year.

Tori Christ is a professional soccer player Västerås BK30 Sweden. She attended Cornell University, where she was  a goalkeeper on the DI Varsity Soccer Team. She was elected captain of the team twice, and lead the Ivy League with 88 saves in 2012, setting a Cornell record. Christ has been named a “Top 20 Junior Athlete” and was a three-time Randy May Coach’s Award winner.

Tori played professionally for the Boston Breakers in 2014, and then for the Swedish team Västerås BK30, where she started and played in all 27 games and had 10 shutouts. She led the team to second in their league in 2015, win the Widerlöv Cup, and advance to the third round of the Svenska Cupen, the country-wide cup in Sweden. In 2016 she signed with Rovaniemen Palloseura (RoPS) in Rovaniemi, Finland.

KK Clark ×

KK Clark is a member of the 2016 Olympic Water Polo Team, having scored seven goals to help Team USA qualify. Her team won a Gold medal at 2016 FINA Intercontinental Tournament. KK scored 11 goals during Team USA’s win at 2015 Pan American Games, and three goals on the run to Gold medal at 2015 FINA Intercontinental Tournament. She was a member of the teams that won the 2014 FINA World Cup and a Gold medal at FINA World League Super Final. In 2013 she scored seven goals with Team USA to win a Silver at the first-ever FINA Intercontinental Tournament. KK helped Team USA to Bronze medal at 2013 FINA World League Super Final and won Silver competing for the U.S. at the 2011 World University Games. She has also played professionally with Roma Pallanuoto (2012-13) and competed domestically with New York Athletic Club since 2012.

KK Clark graduated from UCLA, where she was First Team All-American (2012), First Team All-NCAA Tournament (2012), and First Team All-MPSF (2012). Her record of 169 goals during her four years at UCLA makes her a Top-10 all-time scorer in UCLA history. Her team won a NCAA Championship in 2009, and overall she tallied 21 NCAA Championship tournament career goals.  KK was a 3x All-American (2010, 2011, 2012), 3x All-NCAA Tournament Team member (2010, 2011, 2012), and 4x All-MPSF (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012).  She played in all 121 UCLA matches during her four years and was team leader in goals, steals, field blocks, sprints won, goals per game. KK achieved All-Academic honors (2010, 2011, 2012) and was the Daily Bruin Female Athlete of the Year  in 2012.

Maddy Evans is a professional soccer player in the NWSL on the Orlando Pride. She played college soccer at Penn State, where she was a member of a four-time Big Ten Champion team and served as Captain of the 2012 National Finalist Team.

Kate Grace ×

Kate Grace qualified for the 2016 Olympic Track & Field Team in the 800m event.  She is also a Team USA Track & Field athlete. She competed in the 2014 USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships. Kate ran track at Yale University, where she was a four-time All American. She also competed in the IAAF World Relays.

Megan Guarnier ×

Megan Guarnier is a professional cyclist for Boels-Dolmans. Guarnier first began her athletic journey in the pool where she was a national level swimmer, being named USA Swimming’s Scholastic 2001 All-American. Injuries forced Megan out of the pool and onto the bike where she immediately made her mark. Guarnier has won UCI Women’s World Tour races in California, Philadelphia and a National Championship in North Carolina this year. Last year she won a bronze medal in the UCI Road World Championship which secured her a spot on the Olympic team in Rio this year. Guarnier was the first U.S rider to earn a spot on the 2016 Olympic team.

Phaidra Knight ×

Phaidra Knight is one of the most decorated professional rugby players of all time. She has been a member of the US Women’s National Rugby team for 12 years and has 33 international caps.  She has played on three Women’s Rugby World Cup teams and is currently trying out for her fourth World Cup in Ireland in August 2017. Phaidra was named USA Rugby’s Player of the Decade in 2010, was a two-time All-World honoree, and currently holds a world scoring record. Born in Irwinton, GA, Phaidra graduated from Alabama State University and received a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School. When not training and competing, Phaidra coaches the Under 19 New York Rugby Club, does freelance writing and speaking engagements and manages a number of female athletes.

Lydia Ko ×

Lydia Ko is ranked #1 on the LPGA tour. She is the youngest person ever to win a professional golf event and the youngest to reach #1 on any tour, male or female. Ko was named as one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” in 2014 and “New Zealander of the Year” in 2016. She will represent New Zealand in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Jessica Korda is an American professional golfer playing on the LPGA tour. She turned professional in 2011 at age 17 after finishing second in qualifying school and has four victories thus far. Korda has represented the United States as an amateur in the Curtis Cup as well as a professional in the Solheim Cup.

Bethanie Mattek-Sands ×

Bethanie Mattek-Sands is the #1 ranked women’s doubles player in the world and an Olympic Gold Medalist. After winning her first tournament at age seven, Bethanie went on to win five Grand Slam titles in women’s doubles and two in mixed doubles. In 2015, she won the Australian and French Open women’s doubles titles with Lucie Šafářová, and the U.S. Open mixed doubles title with Mike Bryan.

At the 2016 Rio Olympics Bethanie won a gold medal in mixed doubles, playing with Jack Sock.  In 2017, Bethanie and Lucie Šafářová won the women’s doubles titles at both the Australian Open and French Open.

She was born March 23, 1985 in Rochester Minnesota and now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband Justin Sands and her dog Ruger, a 145 lb. South African Boerboel Mastiff.

Alyssa Murray ×

Alyssa Murray is a player on the Philadelphia Force, one of the teams in the new United Women’s Lacrosse League (UWLX) launching summer of 2016. She has been on the U.S. Women’s National Lacrosse Team since 2014. Alyssa is also on Team STX and is a Nike Athlete.  She graduated from Syracuse in 2014, where she was a 2x Tewaaraton Award Finalist (2013, 2014), 3x First Team All-American (2012, 2013, 2014), First Team Big East (2012, 2013), Big East Attacker of the Year (2013), and First Team All-ACC (2014).

Sandi Morris ×

Sandi Morris is an American pole vaulter who broke the indoor NCAA record in 2015. During that breakout season, Morris continued to reach new heights for the Arkansas Razorbacks and she competed with Team USA at the 2015 IIAF World Championships in Beijing. In 2016 she won her event at the USA Track & Field Indoor Championships and is a member of the 2016 Olympic Track & Field Team. Her other achievements include:

Meghan O'Leary ×

Meghan O’Leary placed sixth in the double sculls rowing competition at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and attended the University of Virginia, where she played on the Varsity Softball and Volleyball teams. She picked up rowing after college and soon soared to the top of the double sculls competition. She won the double sculls at the 2015 National Selection Regatta 1, the 2014 National Selection Regatta 2, and Won the 2013 National Selection Regatta 2.

Madison Packer ×

Madison Packer is a professional ice hockey player in the National Women’s Hockey League, playing forward for the New York Riveters. She grew up in Detroit, MI and attended the University of Wisconsin, where her team won the NCAA Division I National Championship in 2011. In the 2013-14 season, Madison was the alternate captain, leading the Badgers to the Frozen Four, and received WCHA All-Academic Team honors. While she was in high school, Madison won gold medals with the U.S. Under-18 Team at the IIHF Under-18 World Championships in 2008 and 2009.

Nzingha Prescod ×

Nzingha Prescod is a two-time Olympic Foil Fencer who is ranked #2 in the U.S. and #10 in the world. She helped Team USA to a 6th place finish in the 2012 London Olympics and will be competing in Rio this summer. Prescod became the first African American woman to win an individual medal at the 2015 Senior World Championships. Prescod was also the first U.S. women’s foil fencer to win a Grand Prix title (2013, Marseilles). In 2011 she won team Gold and individual Silver medals at the Pan American Games.

Prescod was born in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Columbia University where she was a two-time First-Team All-Ivy honoree (2011, 2013) and Ivy League Rookie of the Year (2015). She participated on  four Junior World Championships Teams: 2012 (Silver – Team), 2011 (Gold – Individual, Silver – Team), 2010, 2009 (Gold – Team), as well as Cadet World Championship Teams in 2009 (Gold), 2008 (Gold), and 2007.

Paige Selenski ×

Paige Selenski was selected as an alternate on the 2016 Olympic Field Hockey Team and is a member of Team USA.  She was a member of the teams that won first place in the 2015 Pan American Games and in the 2014 Champions Challenge. Paige was on the 2012 U.S. Olympic Field Hockey Team and on the team that won first place  at the 2011 Pan American Games.

Paige graduated from the University of Virginia. In 2010 she was a Honda Award semifinalist, NFHCA first team All-American and was voted First team All-American by womensfieldhockey.com. She was an All-ACC honoree, and was named to the NCAA All-Tournament team. She led Virginia in scoring for the third consecutive season with 27 goals. In 2009 Paige was a Honda Award semifinalist, and was selected to the NCAA and ACC All-Tournament teams, scoring a team-best 27 goals, which ranks third-most in single-season history. In 2008 Paige was the ACC Freshman of the Year and was named the National Rookie of the Year by womensfieldhockey.com. She was also a NFCHA second team All-American.

Claressa Shields is an 2x Gold medal-winning Olympic boxer, having won in London and Rio. She became the first U.S. boxer in history to win back-to-back Gold medals.  Claressa won Gold in middleweight competition at the 2014 and 2016 World Championships. She also won Gold in the Light Heavyweight class at the 2015 Pan American games in Toronto.  She was born and raised in Flint, Michigan.

Amanda Sobhy ×

Amanda is the highest-ranked American ever in professional squash, currently at #8 in the world. She holds 14 titles, including two U.S. national titles, won three gold medals at the 2015 Pan American Games, and in 2010 was the first and only American to win World Junior Squash Championships. Amanda was undefeated in her four years on the Harvard Varsity Squash Team, and graduated in 2015.

Kim Vandenberg ×

Kimberly Vandenberg is an Olympic Bronze Medalist from the 2008 Beijing Games.  A California native who is now New York based, Vandenberg has been competing in the pool for over 25 years.  Specializing in both the freestyle and the butterfly strokes, she won silver medals at the World Championships and World University Games in the 200 butterfly and a pair of gold medals at the Pan American Games in the 200 butterfly and 4 x 200 freestyle.  Vandenberg is a three-time U.S. National Champion in the 200 butterfly and a 16-time college All-American at UCLA.

After the Beijing Olympics, Vandenberg moved to Europe to train with International swimmers in Italy and France.  Swimming with Cercle des Nageurs in Marseille, Vandenberg collected a handful of Paris Open titles in the 200 butterfly and a French Championship title in the 100 butterfly.

She is an Athlete Ambassador for Kids Play International, an organization that seeks to promote gender equity around the world through the use of sport. She volunteered in Cambodia with Kids Play International, working with orphans and local women’s shelters teaching sports values. Vandenberg is also an Athlete Ambassador for Up2Us, an organization that trains coaches in sports-based youth development programs and places them in under-resourced communities. She continues to work with Mutual of Omaha teaching swim clinics around the country, sharing her Olympic experiences and empowering youth.

Lisa Wang is a 3x U.S. National Champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics, as well as the 2007 Pan American Games Champion. In 2014, Lisa was inducted into the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame. Lisa graduated from Yale University and is a Co-Founder of SheWorx.

Michelle Wie ×

Michelle Wie is a current LPGA Tour player. She is the youngest player to qualify for a USGA Amateur Championship, youngest to win the USGA Amateur Public Links Championship, and youngest person to qualify for an LPGA event. She has four professional victories including the 2014 U.S. Women’s Open. Wie graduated from Stanford University.

Laura Wilkinson ×

Laura Wilkinson was an Olympic Platform Diving Gold Medalist in 2000. She won the 2004 World Cup and 2005 World Championships and holds 19 U.S. Championship titles.

Six months prior to the 2000 Summer Olympics, Wilkinson suffered a serious foot injury that kept her out of action for a couple of months. She employed a visualization technique to practice her dives during this time, and wasn’t fully healed when she qualified for the 2000 Summer Olympics. Still in pain from her foot injury, she went on to earn the first gold medal for a female American platform diver since 1964.

Wilkinson finished in fifth place in the 10m at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Wilkinson qualified as a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic diving team by taking first place in the trials.

Jennifer Wu ×

Yue “Jennifer” Wu is a US table tennis athlete hailing from Beijing, China. She moved to America in 2008 to pursue her dream of being an Olympian. Last year, she finally passed her citizenship test and in 2016 she had a breakout performance by winning Gold at the Pan American Games. Her performance earned her first spot on the Olympic team. Wu now lives between New York and New Jersey, training and coaching others. 30 Rock star Judah Friedlander happens to be one of her students.
