SUPERNOVA 2007fc IN ESO 538-G8
     Further to IAUC 8829, D. Winslow and W. Li report the LOSS
discovery of an apparent supernova (mag 16.9) on unfiltered KAIT
images taken on July 8.45 and 9.47 UT.  The new object is located
at R.A. = 23h57m33s.89, Decl. = -21o59'53".0 (equinox 2000.0),
which is 22".9 east and 8".5 north of the center of ESO 538-G8.
Nothing was visible at this location on a KAIT image from June
22.47 (limiting mag 18.0).
