We’ve got a secret to unfold…one of Moldova’s most successful Eurovision participants has recently made a comeback! DoReDos stick to their fun and quirky style with their new single titled “Ручка” (“Ruchka”).
Their lucky year
The trio, consisting of Marina, Eugeniu and Sergiu, return following their impressive 10th place finish at Eurovision this year. The song “My Lucky Day” gave Moldova their second top 10 result in a row.
“Ручка” (“Pen” in English) has a much slower tempo compared to DoReDoS’ Eurovision entry. Somehow, it’s very Electro Velvet-esque. Moreover, a catchy chorus and positive beat can be heard, something that is very common with DoReDos and their style of music!
Upon hearing the song, Eugeniu Andrianov states that himself and his fellow members were delighted with the final version of the song.

Their new single has received a great reception. It is currently being played on many popular radio stations around Moldova and beyond. In addition, a music video for it is said to be released soon.

DoReDoS in Eurovision
After winning this year’s O Melodie Pentru Europa, DoReDoS represented Moldova with their song “My Lucky Day”. Written by Philipp Kirkorov and John Ballard, Moldova achieved much success with this. They qualified for the grand final and finished 10th overall, with 209 points.
