CNN.com’s homepage has literally no mentions of the caravan right now, except possibly indirectly in its lead story “Trump Masters His Dangerous Game”, which is indeed embarrassing. But the caravan itself is not currently on the front page at all.
Is this caravan story really getting lots of play? I don’t watch cable news that much so I’m thankfully sparing myself but it is total bullshit for them to be doing this right before the midterms.

Maybe if there’s more. I expect it to be old news in a day or two if it’s just these 3 unless dems go on air to keep it in the news. The reason the caravan sticks is that it gets constant play in conservative media, which builds demand for it in mainstream media.
They have CNN on in my office at work always, the last few days CNN keeps going back to the caravan and showing the map and video of the people in it over and over throughout the day. It's catnip on the tv side of things.

They just had a 20 minute segment on it on air (listened on Sirius)... In which the reporter was actually lamenting the fact that this shit is getting coverage, and basically blamed the media. (it's probably not true) Nevada polling sucks, like, as a rule. Democrats are regularly underestimated based on polling. In 2010 for example, Reid was down in every poll and ended up winning by 6 points. Rosen is a great candidate, but she's up against a well-funded incumbent. Folks expecting it to be a slam dunk need to re-evaluate their expectations.
