Micheline Maynard is an American journalist, broadcaster, author, public speaker, and professor, who writes The Check blog at Forbes.com. She is the editor and founder of Curbing Cars, a crowdfunded journalism project that looks at the future of transportation. She previously worked as a reporter at The New York Times, made regular appearances on PBS NewsHour, and has written several books, including The End of Detroit, How The Big Three Lost Their Grip On The American Car Market.
