Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the Rebecca Lee Pre-Health Society at Syracuse University.

Rebecca Lee Pre-health Society is a student organization, that promotes and encourages a diverse group of pre-health students at Syracuse University to attend professional health schools, including medical, dental, vet, optometry, physical therapy, and other health careers. This organization is a branch of the Students National Medical Association (SNMA), and often collaborates on events and programs with SUNY Upstate Medical University, community service projects, mentoring from medical students, the availability of MCAT/GRE preparation workshops, and, most importantly, the advice and support of fellow Rebecca Lee members. The society is named for Rebecca Lee Crumpler, the first African American woman to earn an M.D. degree, graduating from the New England Female Medical College in 1864.

With that said, we have many great events coming up! Welcome, once again, and we look forward to meeting you soon!
