As much as Eddie Garcia would like to share more about the return of his character in the long-running action-adventure series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” the veteran actor admitted that he himself was clueless about what would become of Don Emilio Syquia.
“He has changed his name to confuse his enemies. He also wears an eyepatch, a gold tooth and a pair of gloves,” the actor told the Inquirer recently.
“He even has a sexy young thing with him by his side,” he added.
Don Emilio’s return
Eddie said he was aware that a lot of the show’s loyal followers were awaiting Don Emilio’s return.
“Sadly, I can’t say much about this new guy. Anything can happen, especially because we’re always given the script the day before taping. Sometimes, the script is even [rewritten] on the set and is sent to you merely through Viber,” he said, laughing.
He added that after three years on the small screen, the program’s production team has gotten so used to shooting in the morning the scenes that would be aired at night.
